Why I paint ...

I love painting art more than any other vocation.  It allows me to relive the beauty of the human form and our natural world, over and over again.  

Painting offers me a deep connection to the core elements of life.

Painting landscapes and seascapes allows me to capture the serene harmony of our diverse planet.  The raw earth, tranquil bush, serene coastal vistas, the play of light and shadow on the surface of water - all are a constant source of inspiration.  

Nudes, on the other hand, provide an opportunity to explore the vulnerability and sensuality of the human body. Painting nudes allows me to delve into the complexities of human emotions and the beauty of the human form.  

Ultimately, these three themes in my art provide a profound connection between humanity and the natural world.  I get to showcase the intricate relationship between our bodies and the earth.
